Hi everyone
Stayed in the back ground for several months . Monday I receive a call to say I have been awarded Pip max points for everything except daily living receiving 10 so qualify for the lower rate .
Monday get a call to say qualify
Tuesday receive a text message x2 to say qualify .and that I should receive my award letter within 2 weeks .how long is usually the descion letter ? And also does Anyone no roughly when you get your first payment / back pay please .?

The letter usually arrives within a couple of weeks.
Backpay generally arrives before the letter.
After that you will receive your first PIP payment 4 weeks later.

Now onto the challenge of appealing the higher rate
Missed out by points on daily living
I scored 8
But top points for everything else .
Citizens advice has told me it does not make sense .
just waiting for the official letter now then start the appeal for higher rate . Have more than enough evidence. But been told if I d o appeal I could loose points .
so drawing so confusing and pretty scared in case u do loose points !!!0 -
plus my award was for 3 years .
Any thoughts or comments should I appeal ???
