LCWRA bavkoay and carers element
hi so I’ve received my first lcwra payment this month but have lost my care element for my daughter. Am I still entitled to the back pay

It is correct that LCWRA has replaced Carers Element as the same person cannot get both.
Not everyone gets backpay for LCWRA, if the decision is made within the waiting period.
The waiting period for LCWRA element is three full assessment periods from the date of your first Fit Note, assuming they were provided with no gaps, none that were backdated etc.
No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

That's quite a quick decision so it's unlikely you are owed any backpay.
What date did you report the health condition?
What date was your first Fit Note given to UC?
Were there any gaps in handing in Fit Notes, any that were backdated etc?
Your UC assessment period or payment date?

I only started my claim on 6th August. I declared my health condition on 7th. First note was sent on 14th September. My assessment periods are 6th-7th.

September/October: Partial AP, excluded from waiting period.
October/November: AP 1
November/December: AP 2
December/January: AP 3
January/February: Eligible for LCWRA element.
13th February: First LCWRA element paid
No backpay is owed.

Unfortunately the work coaches don't know the ins and outs of UC, and often give out incorrect advice.
