in Start here and say hello!

I am recovering fromfrom a total pelvic exenteration, and colostomy and urostomy bags. Need walking aids, crutches or stick, and I can walk 3-5 km total in a day but can’t stand for too long.

I’m interested in European city breaks, where everything is central and flattish.

Also a Nile cruise but would prefer the smaller older type of boat, rather than the big luxury liners, and definitely during the cooler season.

My wife would be my travelling companion.

Any suggestions?

    Hi @Kidmumbles and a warm welcome to the community!

    I went on a Norwegian Fjord cruise in 2022 with P&O and I found it quite accessible.

    I have some mobility issues and limitations due to my disability but I found that while there were some the excursions I wasn't able to do such as certain walks and hikes there was still a lot I could do! I also found that a lot of the ground was flat and even.
