Hi, my name is Lovelock93! would i be able to claim cerers element on UC?

I recently started caring for my mum would i be able to claim cerers element on UC she does claim pup
My question is my sister is my carer but can i be my mothers carer and claim the element i have seen mixed answers online

I get LCW but was after april 2017

Yes as Carers Element exceeds what you get for LCW, Carers Element can be claimed.

I dont get anything for lcw as i claimed ster 2017

Exactly. You get £0 for LCW so would qualify to receive payment for Carers Element.
Please note if you ever get LCWRA, Carers Element would end as the same person cannot get both.
