WCA/LCWRA Reassessments 2025?

Hi, does anyone know or have read/heard anything about Kendall saying that she wants to start reassessing claimants on LCWRA again in 2025? It's all a bit confusing with mixed messages from DWP, the media etc, some saying they were suspended due to covid and getting through backlogs, then saying only new claimants would be assessed. I know they are trying to change the WCA at present, is this what she's talking about, she keeps going on about people languishing on sickness benefits and being forgotten about and wants to ramp up reassessments again. I'd not heard anything about this until I read it online, albeit on Yahoo news via The Telegraph!! I'm dreading being reassessed as they keep targeting those with mental health issues and I might lose my LCWRA element, it's very worrying.

Hi I was reassessed last year and I remained in the support group
Prior to that the had left me alone for about twelve years

A handful of reassessments for those in Support Group/LCWRA have been taking place, the numbers have just been very small and they remain suspended for the vast majority.

I filled out a ESA 50 for reassessment a couple months ago, wait for a reassessment, after being left alone for 1O years , worrying

I can empathise with you worrying because I think we all do
I had a telephone assessment and it lasted over an hour.
The assessor was very thorough and fair and I kept my award.
