I had my one recorded by them, apart from the distance i don't think they twisted anything else. Just remember been asked the same question multiple times if different ways to catch you out

On front page of the Telegraph about Labour MP's not being happy :
Though I am confused as it says - There is no need to vote on the cuts as they do not require any new legislation.

I wonder if thats about the freezing of pip increase as surely the other parts would right?
2 -
By then pip won't exist most likely

I’d imagine it would be discrimination to target any particular condition or disability really. Plus of course pip criteria isn’t about which condition you gave but how it affects you . But these idiots probably don’t know that
1 -
or they change how far you can walk to how long you can walk
1 -
that makes sense as I think I read something about the yearly increase can be frozen . Wasn’t benefits frozen a few years back to make savings ?

Within 2 years PIP won't exist . It's costing too much. Why would someone who has disability need more than someone else on jsa ? I'm PIP but I do think unemployment benefits should be same for all and increase to make it fair to everyone. Like £300 per month my rent is £550 yet my housing allowance is £425 so without PIP how would I pay rent my rent. Housing rental has almost doubled since covid. Now om looking for cheaper accommodation 1 bedroom social accommodation but I have to bid with others. I was currently number 2 in que now I'm number 40 and it'd only 5 pounds a month cheaper. Housing allowance need to increase with the rental market price. Even if I was working full-time I couldn't afford a 1 bedroom flat without PIP. So eventually I will end up in bedsit or hostel

I'm shocked after reading that the reforms and cuts will not have to go through legislation.
I'm even more stressed now because this means they can bring these cuts in immediately if they wish. I feel physically sick.

Omg hope ur wrong? I'd be happy with another 3 year award before it stops my advice if u can save half your monthly pip that's what I'm gonna do if get awarded I'm review save save save

It would be great if saving was an option for me. As things stand, I am thinking about taking my Motability car back early, as I can barely afford my daily expenses.

Me too, I didn't sleep at all last night. All the talk of green papers etc but that article says cuts don't need require new legislation. Made me feel quite sick

Welfare reforms but cuts to welfare?

We can all get a job as a work coach - £24K to £26K pa. How hard can it be to sanction people you don't like the look of? (Joking)
0 -
Sorry but they have frozen benefits before, for 4 years. They can freeze it again
2 -
I would be more concerned with them being removed than frozen! We shall have to hang on to hear what the green paper says.

Does anyone know what was said in Ellen Clifford’s zoom meeting ? I read on YouTube the cuts are expected to catastrophic.
0 -
I don't know about any zoom meetings, but I do believe (my opinion) that much of the public support cuts to social security.
