PIP Timeline?

Hi my name is Taj25, I completed a claim for PIP online on 8th March (and uploaded some of my medical documents as evidence), basically when I was younger, I had an infection of the cerebellum causing me to lose my motor functions which I had to learn again. I am now 33 but still have effects of my illness, most notably it has caused me Cerebellar Ataxia and I find it difficult to maintain balance when standing or walking.

So I am just wondering would I be awarded PIP based on this?

How long from the date I started the claim would it take to complete?
