hello on 4th feb 2025 had pip assessment over the phone
14th feb text to say receieved my written report
Wednesday 3rd March a text to say haven’t made a decision yet
is this a a good thing as not heard anything after
Im very anxious

Yes unfortunately they are standard texts sent out while a decision hasn't been made.
Timescales after the assessment are anything up to 12 weeks.

As Kimmy has said they are very normal texts to get, so nothing to worry about there. There can be a fair wait, so I'd suggest doing things to keep your mind off it. Even if it's just putting the kettle on. 😊0 -
hello again after asking earlier about the text I came home to a letter dated 3rd March to say they have got all the information needed now and they will be in touch with a decision so im guessing still a waiting game for now

I would ring them and ask what the delay is with giving you a .decision.

i don’t like to moider them and I do understand it can take a long time it is now 11weeks since applying for the first time for this so just wasn’t sure if they went from when you first claim or from the telephone assessment .

The only way to find out is to ring and ask them what the delay is or wait for them to write to you.

habe just received a text saying i have been awarded pip don’t know how much though and do they back date at all or do they pay from when making a decision please?

They backdate to when you called to apply.

yes i have give them a call and will be getting standard living component will receieve back payment on 18th march from 11th of November to the 11th march however much that will be .
