Hey just looking a bit of advice regarding backdated Lcwra payments. I signed up to UC on sept 2024 and straight away started providing sick notes. I complete the forms for Lcwra at end of Nov 24. I was awarded Lcwra at the end of Feb 25. And was told I no longer needed to provide the sick notes. I'm just confused at when they back date too?

    LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

    What date did you report the health condition?

    What date was your first Fit Note?

    Were there any gaps in handing in Fit Notes, any that were backdated etc?

    Do you claim with a partner who gets LCWRA or have Transitional Protection on your claim? If so how much is it please.

    Finally what is your UC assessment period date?
