PIP, working, Access to Work

Hi, I have a few questions about the above please. I am new to being "disabled" mental and physical issues and am not here to offend or criticise, I need info please.

  1. PIP and working. Please can you explain to me if you work how that affects PIP in terms of your being unable to do certain things. I ask simply because I can't understand how I can get employed if I am not able to do things like focus, concentrate. For the record, I am LCW and do work and just got PIP.

    I don't know how to edit above. The work I do doesn't require a lot of focus and has minimal responsibility. I wasn't clear. I don't understand how people who work full time can also be in receipt of PIP. Doesn't it cost the govt/their employer more to employ them with Access to Work and adjustments? I know it's the law and everyone should have access to employment but if I was employing people I would favour someone who doesn't need extra support. I know, even as I type that it is a bad attitude but it is the real world. Please don't be offended. It's me thinking and querying, not acting.
