I just watched talktv and a panelist confirmed that the criteria for 'Enhanced is changing..

The example he gave was as follows: If you could only reheat food in a microwave; this would at present facilitate enhanced rate, will now get you a standard rate.

Also, the need for help to wash lower than your waste line; once gave an enhanced rating will now no longer!

Only if you need help with upper body.. These were just 2 examples

Two examples of proposals that might be in the upcoming Green Paper.

Any ideas what they might be?

Talktv would not be my first choice for a factual source of news.

The facts, as i see them are that currently nobody outside of government have any clue what is going to be in the proposals.

We have to wait until the green paper announcement this week for anything resembling facts.

Even the green paper is only a set of proposals, it'll get kicked around for ages before anything is actually agreed upon, if ever.

So anything you read is clickbait, or in talkv's case, a bid to get audience share

The above is just my opinion, I'm as worried about it as everybody else, but trying not to panic until I have reason to.

I agree but people will naturally speculate because they fear the unknown.

Afternoon. We understand this is a difficult topic, and many people are finding it challenging. To keep the community a safe space, we're encouraging all discussions on benefit changes to stay in one place. For that reason, we’ll be closing this discussion, but we’d love for you to join the main discussion thread here: Upcoming changes to benefits.
