How is your day going?

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Im taking the antiviral medication, they are 5 a day with intervals between each, trouble is my memory isn't that good lol.
I hope everyone is having a good restful Sunday.
A news piece in the guardian made me sleep easier. It's looking very much like Starma, is going to have a struggle with alot of his own cabinet ministers and the Lords. Fingers crossed for a u-turn on this green paper, he has chosen to fight the elderly, and people with physical and mental health disabilities. He is in for a fight.

I'm okay today thanks Catherine , still very fearful and reflective, apparently a new idea that Kendall is coming up with is try work -which means if you don't like work , you go back to your benefit , no sanctions etc, mmmmm , not liking that idea one bit , I suffer with anxiety and stress and after what happened to me , I can't be in a room with just one person ,plus , they will have to have the patience of a saint , I mess myself 8-9 times a day , plus I have bulimia, they will hardly see me for the amount of toilet breaks I will need , I've never seen so much strength of feeling over this, and rightfully so
How are you doing ?

Good to hear from you, and I’m glad the meds are helping. Hope the memory side effects gradually ease.
As you pointed out, Starmer is in for a challenge like never before, especially from the most vulnerable in our communities.
Best wishes!

I've had an absolutely banging day.
Went out for lunch and watched a live Irish band.

I honestly love your attitude towards it all Catherine, its admirable , I wish I could be as strong as you , I'm waiting for a reference from Survivors UK to see a Councillor and hopefully it might help , but as you know 6 sessions of seeing someone doesn't sort out decades of issues , you're definitely one of the good people and I understand your comments :) hopefully , I'll get a few people on board with me as well, you've been lovely xxx

Morning .. I am feeling really anxious. I should not read the papers but I can't help it. It looks like unless this government is toppled... I am not sure . They will force people to work regardless. I hope all is scaremongering and nothing else.... But I am scared. Why don't they reduce their exorbitant salaries and leave the sick alone..

Hi I think most of us feel the same.
The government are due to make an announcement .tommorow

Morning folks. Sorry to hear people are struggling with the upcoming news, I know it's not easy.
We do have a discussion here for everyone to join in with. I think it's best we keep any talk of potential benefit changes there, so people who don't want to read about it have safe spaces to talk about other things. I hope that's ok?But please know we are doing our best and once the information is out, we'll give a statement.

Hi I hope your doing well today.
I’m glad you’ve suggested benefit posts stick to the threads that have already been made, it’s on most of our minds but I’m trying to distract myself from it all.
I hope everyone can get through the day and we will know more tomorrow look after yourselves.@luvpink

It's a very stressful time for so many people, but it's important people can voice their views on that discussion. But we are keeping an eye out for those who may need some extra support.
But that discussion isn't this discussion, so let's try and keep the usual happy vibes going in here. I think we could all use some. 😊1 -
@Catherine21 , As suggested by @Albus_Scope see you in the discussion forum to discuss this further. Hope your day has gone well so far . I’m had some blood’s this morning & heading shortly for some Knee injections at my local GP surgery 😊

Got my new council tax bill
Doesnt seem. Right to me
Last year I only paid pounds a month and 7 pounds previous year
I. Get discounts due to live alone and disability
So why does my bill say 70 pounds a month?
And that's a discount
I'm. Appalled
I. Tried several times to get through to the council on the phone. In a queue. After 1 hour on hold I gave up
So I emailed them
Had anyone else got a wrong bill
