ADAPTED TAXIS - DERBY (and other cities...)
Hi everyone - my disabled daughter is a power chair user, and cannot transfer. Before the pandemic, it was easy to get an adapted cab to anywhere she wished to go in Derby or surrounding area, at a reasonable cost, with quotes for longer journeys, or evenings. Post-pandemic - it is a nightmare to get an adapted cab at all…

Rollator on London buses
Hello - I've recently acquired a rollator and wondered about using it on London buses. Will drivers lower the ramp for me or is that only for wheelchair users? I think I'd be OK boarding at the front but getting out could be difficult. Could I ask the driver to lower the ramp?

I believe I educated myself well, partly thanks to this site, on the PIP questions in so far as I knew what to put down and what not to mention i.e. what they were interested in and what was irrelevant (to them). I am hoping to do the same with the blue badge. Can anyone tell me what sort of things they are actually…

My driving license was revoked due to poor eyesight, but I do not have a CVI and therefore cannot qualify for a disabled railcard. Does anyone have any advice on what to do?
