Hi everyone, thanks for reading. I'm looking for some advice. I have a Motability car and I had a driver to only have in my provisional license. I've now passed my driving test and I cannot get insured on my own Motability car due to a LC20 conviction which was driving in a car in another vehicle now passied and done it I know everything I should've done before. However live suffer in the way I suffer with extreme pain due to osteoporosis and the only reason I drove before was because the pain was too much wrong I know in the eyes of the law but the pain I can't explain I'm a single mum I needed to shop i wasn't driving recklessly I was stopped because I told social services I had a provisional only expecting some help instead I got stopped now I'm not allowed to be insured 😔

Were you banned from driving or did you have points on your licence? How long ago did this happen?Drivers with certain convictions, disqualifications or endorsements in the last five years cannot drive a Scheme vehicle. Speak to your dealer or Direct Line Motability (DLM)(opens in a new window) for more information. To be honest i'm not sure what else you can do if they have refused to insure you.
