Hi
Hope you all doing well
I have received text saying they received my pip report on 8th December 2022

Today  22nd December 2022 I have received another text message that they have not made desision and they will write to me once they have decided

Has anyone received this text message? Previously when I applied for PIP never received text me saying that we have made descion and send you letter never got this text before

Finger crossed - they have rejected my pip multiple times so I'm hoping that they do make wise decision

I have crohs disease had two operations my health is getting worse I hope they don't discrimate based on my disability

Texts are fairly new but the one you received is a standard text sent to everyone that gives a mobile number.
You mention you've been rejected multiple times, have you ever challenged that decision? To constantly reapply is likely going to see constant refusals if you use the same evidence you previously used.
If successfully award they do usually send a text. Never heard of a text being sent with a refusal.

If you’re refused again I’d advise you to challenge that decision by first requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration rather than reapply again. Reapplying is never the answer.

Hi guys thanks for the reply I have requested report that was not send to me but letter which  says 'we  now have the information we need to make the decision'

Also we now have the information we need to decide if we can award you PIP

Furthermore it states I do not have to do anything  and they will write toe once they have made decision on your pip claim

I just want to ask why on earth my report was not send but this letter was send do you guys think I will get or not in fact I'm quite worried

I have provided new evidence the consultant has provided letter supporting my claims on how it effects me

    Thanks for you lot help

That's another standard letter they send everyone. With all the Royal Mail strikes there's a lot of delays with people receiving their post. I received 2 letters today that were dated middle of November.

OK thanks how long do you think they will take to let me know if I can get it or not?

Also if they can send this letter don't understand why they haven't send my report

A decision can be up to about 12 weeks once the report was returned to DWP but it could be longer because of Christmas closing days.
I can't answer the question of why you haven't received the report sorry.

Today 5th January I received text confirming I been awarded
I had dream that they was going to award me lol

I am happy this time they didn't discrimate me based on my disability

    Doing good thank you :)

Sorry your inflammation markers are high, will keep my fingers crossed for your injections 🤞 Are you on biologics?

I had my colon removed so the majority of the inflammation is gone, what's left is a lot more manageable. I applied for PIP and was denied but was accepted as Limited Capability To Work. I was only accept as that when I had my stoma! It is hard for invisible illnesses. I have always heard "but you look ok".
