Increase speed of 3 Wheel Scooter

Hello to all. I have recently purchased an Easy Rider, 3 wheel Scooter and while it is an excellent scooter overall, I would like to increase the speed by a few kilometres. It is restricted to 10 kilometres an hour, however in certain circumstances, this can be dangerous, as you cannot, increase speed to avoid oncoming vehicles. Would anyone have any ideas as to how to rectify this problem? It does have the largest batteries 100ah 12v x 2. I am located in Ozzieland/down under, and have not had any success in finding any info regarding my question, locally. I am aware that you possibly operate under different regulations in the U.K, which is understandable.
Many thanks in advance.

Hello there @Crazywolf and thanks for reaching out, can I ask where you're based at the moment?

You mention "avoiding oncoming vehicles", does this mean you're using your scooter on the road, not the pavement?

I don't think there's anyway I have an electric wheelchair so @Alex_Scope if anyone is needing advice point them my way. On the other hand if you find any information on electronic wheelchairs tag me in because we find it so hard to find a electronic wheelchair.

Thanks @durhamjaide2001 I'm also an electric wheelchair user myself :)

As far as I'm aware you should always check with the provider of your mobility aid/manufacturer, but generally increasing the standard speed isn't something that's encouraged.

What difficulties have you had with finding your chair @durhamjaide2001?

I see @durhamjaide2001 the cost of chairs is often a big barrier for a lot of people, I know that there are various grants out there, but they often depend on age, like being under 18, or getting certain disability benefits, like PIP for the Motability scheme for example.
