Hi welcome to this community. Someone can be with him all the time he will need to be carried though into an airplane seat don't worry if you book through a travel agent then everything should be sorted make sure you ask your travel for passengers assistance and mention about his needs and you will have to fill out forms about him and the wheelchair.Make sure you have plenty to do on the plane as there isn't much entertainment and if he can't walk make sure you have changed him before the flight as it will be impossible to do it on the flight. Lastly the flight attendants are for you so make use of them as some of the youngsters will just sit around not doing anything.1
