I'm sure lots of people claim PIP because of the way this condition affects them. However, please be aware that PIP isn't awarded based on any diagnosis, it's how those conditions affect you against the PIP descriptors. As we are all affected differently by these conditions you can't really compare others to yourself. Once the report is returned to DWP a decision can take up to about 12 weeks.1

hi thanks for your reply this condition has really affected me i just feel like everything is too much to do and i mean everything i got diagnosed while i was pregnant and had to have my baby early then on top of that while i was in hospital preparing to give birth i got diagnosed with covid so then had to give birth on my own because once my partner went out of the hospital he wasnt allowed back in.do you know if anyone has gotten pip for heart failure with reduced ejection fraction.0

Hello @scarlett33 and welcome to the community, thanks for sharing a bit about yourself. I'm sorry to hear about your experience of giving birth, it must have been quite traumatic. How is the baby doing now?
As poppy mentioned it's difficult for us to know whether anyone has gotten pip for heart failure with reduced ejection fraction because it's not awarded based on diagnosis. How do you feel the assessment went for you?
If there's anything we can help with in the meantime, please do ask0 -
hi yes my baby is doing well now and i thought the assessment went fine im just abit nervous about it but hopefully its a good outcome thanks.0
