If I'm on ESA income related with all premiums and Enhanced PIP for both components, and my son lives with me and as just turned 18, and does not work, but has to claim Universal credit, how much of my ESA will I have taken away ? And also I'm Exempt from paying Council tax, what effect will him being 18 and on Universal credit, will it have on my exemption?

Does your ESA include the Severe Disability Premium? (£69.40/week) If so then unless your son claims either PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care their self the your SDP will end. You need to report the changes to ESA.
For council tax reduction you also need to report the changes to your local Authority. If you’re claiming housing benefit for help with the rent then this won’t be affected because you’re claiming daily living PIP.Is he no longer in full time non advanced education?0
