Not good at speaking or spelling and Suffer pain every day in all day I haw fibre myalgia  I have arthritis all down the right side of my body in my hands I have major seizures and I’m in a wheelchair my name is Ashley nice to meet u .

my fiend felt I needed to try speak to more people that understand me . Personally I didn’t wanna come on her because I don’t think it will.  work because everybody’s pain is different and everybody feels different in their disabilities  that said I’ll give it a whirl so here I am nice to meet you

Hi @ahs I'm so sorry none of our members have welcomed you in I have the odd seizure and had one last Wednesday so I can relate to you there. In terms of pain how well do you manage it? What types of painkillers do you use? Have you thought about trying an electronic wheelchair as I would highly recommend this to you as you will feel less pain and be more independent. For now though I would recommend to have a visit to our coffee lounge where it's none stop fun in there. Hope to see you around.

Thanks for already finding the courage to reach out to us, even when didn’t completely want to. I think you have done a really good thing reaching out to us.

As you say, everybody’s pain is different and everybody feels different in their disabilities. That means that every single person’s experiences are valid.

There are quite a few of us here (myself included!) who are living with similar things, even if not the same thing. I know for me, I also have fibromyalgia.

I empathise with you and what you experience every day. If you would like to talk to us more about this please feel free.
