Yes I only seem to be getting the £****.70 they deducted that and over paid carer's allowance from us the is also ESA taken off our university credit. We don't get any extra or Lcwra just universal credit, ESA, carer's allowance and my partner pip.0

Then that's not correct. This maybe why they haven't changed your claimant commiments, although claiming carers allowance also means you shouldn't have any work commiments.Go onto your journal again and "report a change of circumstances" Then in the list have a look for "caring for someone" click that and tell them that you're caring for your partner for at least 35 hours per week. They should then include the carers element of £168.81/month. Although you would think that the carers element is automatically added, it isn't.Once you've done that put a message on your journal under the payment section and ask for the carers element to be backdated to the start of your carers allowance claim and hopefully they will backdated to that date (providing you were claiming UC at that time). Once all this is done your work commiments should change and you will not be expected to look for work, prepare for work or attend any appointments.Your partners ESA is New style ESA, how much does he receive each fortnight for this please? When did he claim ESA and when did your UC claim start? So sorry for all the questions but i'm just trying to help you and i can't help without knowing all the details.0

Thank you, that’s helpful. That tells me that he’s in the Support Group for ESA so he should be receiving £235.20 every fortnight for that.
Your UC should also include the LCWRA element but it will depend on what date he reported his health condition and what date you usually receive your payment each month.Have you now reported being his carer as I advised?0 -
Not yet as I was finding the date it seems it was May last year that he started getting ESA not sure if that makes any difference but I definitely will has they can see his information online thank you, you have been a great help xxx0

You’re very welcome! I just didn’t want you to have to take your WCA decision to a Tribunal if there was no need to because I know how stressful it can be.
When did you first claim Universal Credit? Was it the same time as the ESA in May 2022?0
