Pip backdated money

Hello, I’ve recently been awarded enhanced daily living and standard mobility (5th jan). Been waiting nearly 2 years. Went through tribunal and was told it would all be backdated. Could anyone tell me how long it would take for this payment to come through? Im due a letter by the 13th. And some people have said Im they received it before the letter.
I can imagine this question comes out a lot and I’m sorry if this annoys anyone.
I’m a worrier and I would like my mind to be at ease currently as I suffer from severe anxiety.
Many thanks!

It can take time unfortunately, the decision needs to be ‘uploaded’ to the system by a Decision Maker and arrears owed need to be calculated and authorised. You will be in a queue so no need to worry, if no payment by Friday you can always phone and ask.1

If this was a Tribunal decision then the letter you've been told you will receive by the 13th will be from the Tribunal. It can take anything up to 8 weeks to receive what is owed and put an award into payment. So it's unlikely you will receive the money before the 13th.When you've read that people usually receive the money before the letter, that will be when they've been awarded by DWP. Once the award is put into payment you should receive the money in your bank before you receive the decision letter.1
