Just had text from DWP

Further to my post this morning I’ve had a missed call and just had a text saying ..
Since we received your PIP appeal, we have looked at all the evidence again. We can change our decision but we need your agreement to do so. Please call on 08001214433

I’ve just called and although the agent was unable to tell me what it was about he said there is a note on my file asking for bank details, 

Does this mean it’s been granted without a F2F?

I've never heard of this situation before, but my knowledge is limited.

Was the agent unable to tell you because they were not the agent assigned to your claim? I'm a little confused as to why he couldn't tell you?

Yes, he said the Decision Maker had just left a note on my file asking for bank details to make a payment. Not relaxing about it just yet though.

Sometimes when you request a Tribunal before DWP respond to that they will review your claim and may make an offer of an award. If you accept the award your appeal will lapse.

You can accept the award so you have something in payment and then request the Tribunal again. The waiting time will then start again.

If you're happy with the award itself and not happy with the length of the award you can also request the Tribunal just for that. You'll need to make sure that you tell them you're happy with the award and are just appealing the length only.
