There's 2 parts to PIP, daily living and mobility and the points for each part are not added together. For daily living there's 10 activities and 2 for mobility. What exactly were you awarded? 11 points for 12 questions doesn't tell me what you were awarded.

The point score depends on DWP assessment of the difficulties you have.
You don't add all the points together.
You get points for Daily Living and you get points for Mobility. In each part you need 8 points to get a standard rate award. Whether you have been awarded anything depends on where you have your points. If you have 7 points for Daily Living and 4 points for Mobility there is no award payable.
You'll have to wait for the decision letter to see where you scored points. If you disagree with the decision you can request a Mandatory Reconsideration. You need to understand the scoring system. The questions i got asked example
Washing and bathing 1 point
Eating and Drinking 1 point
I added them all up on every question i had on my reports0 -
The minimum points for each activity for washing/bathing and taking nutrition is 2 points. It's not possible to score 1 point in any of those activities. You need to wait for the decision letter to see exactly where you scored those points and what your award is.

As you've now had the decision as we advised, once you receive the decision letter you'll know exactly where you scored those points. We can't tell you if it's possible to score any further points for a higher award because we don't know how your conditions affect you.If you don't fully understand the PIP descriptors and what they mean you'll need to get some expert advice before going any further because you'll need to check if any further points can be scored. It's pointless challenging the decision if no further points can be scored.0
