I posted recently about a text from DWP about my PIP claim.
I have been awarded both elements at lower rate without getting to the appeal stage (although I had lodged appeal)
So no F2F meeting needed and a good result.

Just posting this to give hope to all that are considering the process and to say if you are refused initially stay strong and follow it through.
Hoping for the best for all of you x

That sounds like good news @milesofsmiles1
Thank you for sharing! Do you mind me asking whether you accepted an offer from them before the appeal?
I hope that you have a relaxing weekend.0 -
Oh that's fantastic news. How do you feel about it?0

Thank you all .. I’m very relieved, I had set myself up for a monumental battle, like so many my health is a hidden disability and I just could find the words verbally or written to explain sufficiently I felt, so I was going over and over in my mind each and every scenario I might face, thus causing more anxiety.@me9021 I hadn’t been given a date for hearing but DWP looked again at my application, and changed there decision.@Tori yes I’ve accepted their new decision before getting to the tribunal.
I have had a letter from the tribunal saying DWP had failed to respond to them.Hoping for good outcomes for you all x0
