Child DLA Renewal

Hi,
I'm just filling in my daughter's DLA renewal form. If they make a decision after my daughter's award ends and I get the form in BEFORE this time, will they backdate it?

If your daughters DLA ends then it will be backdated to the date it stopped. However, i would think the DLA should continue until a decision is made on the renewal.

Hi Poppy, thank you 😊 I wish it did continue. If they haven't made a decision by the time her award stops, her payments stop too. That's why I was wondering about back payments.
