Pip backpayment

in Start here and say hello!
So I received a text telling me I had been awarded pip. I first applied back on the 4th July 2022 so this should be the date my pip claim is backdated too. I have today seen a payment due into my bank of £203 from DWP PIP and I am just trying to work out what this could be because I have looked at all the different payment amounts for pip and this amount just does not add up to the time passed for it to be a backpayment so was wondering if anyone could help. Thank you

    We would only be guessing - to find out you’ll need to ring them.

    Thanks for already finding the courage to reach out to us. I always appreciate how much courage it can take to reach out, especially when you are new.

    We have quite a few community members who will, hopefully, be able to support you with this. Unfortunately, it’s not my area but I am sure someone will be able to respond to you soon.
