Hi @Rose29, I hope someone has come to be with you, so that you are not so lonely.
I've not been doing so well the last couple of days.
I've changed to a new Care Agency but I'm not happy. The Carers just want to do what is convenient for them. The Carer turned up for dinner at 5.30 pm, an hour early and by 9.30pm I was hungry again. I don't have access to my kitchen, as I can't walk at all. I'm going to tell Social Services today that I have to change agencies again...
I don't have any family that could come across, so I have to cope by myself whether it's ill health, loneliness or anything else. I'm so glad you have loved ones around you, it's hard being totally alone. My only option is to go into a Care Home, which I would never do willingly. My independence is of paramount importance.
I hope you have no trouble sleeping. Take care.

@SueHeath good morning hun ,a little better it was -5 this morning ,I had my birds in garden my beautiful old chickens which I feel bad that I can’t do much with them anymore so neighbours have gotten together seeked council permission and move the ladies in front yard so all young ones look after them, play with them feed them ,they’re allowed to come get feed and water from my house ,one of my neighbour this morning spoke to me over my ring cam asking if the cold water ok for chicken in such cold, bless his heart I told him they’ll be fine as they have had apple cider vinegar.haha0

Glad your feeling better darling and it sounds like you have a great community around you.
Don't forget you can always join in on any of the chats or games we do in the coffee lounge, if your fed up or just need a little distraction.1 -
Hi @Rose29, I hope you are well today. How lovely that your community has come together to look after your chickens. I hope you have someone to collect the eggs!
Please give your cat a hug from me. My beautiful cat Lancelot disappeared last October, while I was in hospital. My Carer was feeding him but he left two days before I was discharged. Of course I miss him very much.
I'm looking forward to spring and warmer weather! I hope you are managing to keep warm! Take care.1 -
@Oxonlady thank you hun xx yes my upstairs neighbour said in feb when girls start to lay she’ll collect the eggs for me,and I love my kitty her name is Yennefer,I’m sorry to hear about your boy disappearing it’s heartbreaking to loose your fur baby x my flat is very nicely insulated as it’s a accessible property so it’s not too big so gets warm easily .0
