Hello there. I am a 27 year old autistic male with anxiety and depression. I haven't been formally diagnosed with either, But I used to get sick notes for UC. From the GP. I used to claim, PIP But I was removed from it and failed a reassement. But I get the Limied work capablity for UC, I am looking to reclaim PIP again and I'm just wondering what I should do? Should I book in to see my GP so it can go down on my record that I've seen about it? I know I have depression but I know they like it in writing. Help.

Limited capability for work is completely different to PIP.
Did you challenge the decision to refuse you? If not was there any reason why? When was the decision made on that please?

I did not, My mum was terminal at the time. And she was my appointee i guess you could say.
I know its completely different, But I'm just wondering if the GP has that on file it could help?
I messed up a question and they twisted my words, usual stuff.

They should have it on file. How long ago was it?

Then it might be worth contacting them. However just be aware that they might not be able to share her data with it being GDPR without her permission. Have you got any records at home about your mum that you can dig out?

No sadly. It'd be a fresh claim. I claimed for autism and a actual thing on my back that needed surgery. I don't know, I'm scared, confused and I feel hopeless.

As I read it, it’s not about mum, indeed I infer that mum has died.
