After another conversation with @Richard_Scope today (our discussions spark great topics for the community!), we want to know...
Who is the most famous person you have ever met / spoken to?
And, if you have met / spoken to more than one famous person, who was your favourite?

Not the most impressive, and also probably only older members will recognise, but I met chef Kieth Floyd at a restaurant as he helped himself to the chair I was sitting on when I got up to leave the table for a moment. When I got back was casually talking to my family. I got back and said to my Mum "who is that old man that stole my chair?".
I also almost ran someone over, I get mixed up with who it was, but I believe it was either Dara O Briain or one of the guys from the TV show called something like "3 men in a boat"? I was coming out from a car park and he was cycling along the pavement and didn't stop before he crossed the road.1 -

Many years ago I met Robert Powell at a Charity cricket match at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. I had my photo taken with him and Hale and Pace.
Robert Powell really does have beautiful blue eyes, a wonderful voice and is every bit a gentleman.
There are some churches abroad that still have his image as Jesus (from the epic Jesus of Nazareth).1 -

That’s how I met him @Margare93222061, he was selling books and telling his story, mostly about how he was incarcerated for five years. Nice chap too. I bought his book which he signed.0

I met Pete Murray many years ago. I had to be interviewed by LBC (I think it was LBC) and I was feeling nervous. I have always been around high profile people, but only as someone in the background. Only a few times have I been in the spotlight and it makes me incredibly nervous because I am very shy. However I know how to "front" things and no one can get by on a wing and a prayer better than me! In the studio I looked confident but my heart was beating. Yet Pete Murray seemed to suss me out. He came and sat next to me, and reassured me about being on the radio. He was the personification of charm and good will. After speaking with him I didn't feel so nervous, but the interview was still a bit of an ordeal.

Hi Steve
Good to hear you met Pete. Murray0 -
I once got chatted up by an actress that appeared in a big US soap.
Met Boy George, Holly Johnson, an artist that lied about the band he
was in.
