MR question

I want to appeal but I’m trying to wait for my award letter to know where to write my appeal in. I’m just challenging length of award atm. My 30 days are coming up. I was awarded in December. Can I get an extension?

Yes, phone PIP on 0800 121 4433 press option 6 and you can request it and you should get it granted whilst on the phone.

You don't need to extend the time to request the MR. The moment you ring to request the extra time will be the moment the time starts ticking because you will have already requested it over the phone.

You have 13 months to request it. If outside of the 1 month then you'll need to tell them why you didn't request it within that month. If they refuse the late request then you just proceed with Tribunal.

You think you are thinking of the time to return the PIP2. The question is about submitting an appeal.

Scared for sure. I have no idea what to do. I’ve been trying to get advice from my area but they seem full. I’m guessing I’m on the early part yet

With the MR, some people find it best to look at the evidence they provided the first time around, and find ways to strengthen it @disabledmom :) For example, you could think of some real world examples of the challenges you face in line with the PIP descriptors (pipinfo.net)
