I’m 67 been claiming pip and disability now I have to have a assessment I thought assessments stopped at 66

Not everyone of state pension age will be given a 10 year award. It's for those whose conditions are unlikely to change.Your current award was likely given before you reached state pension age so this time if you're awarded you maybe given a 10 year award.
