Hi I usually get the whd payment, but this year been told no because of the house I live in. I have sleep apnea which I use a cpap machine at night for, and I have asthma, diabetes and multiple sclerosis. If I phoned them up and explained about all this weather they'd change there mind. I can't afford to have heating on all day so only in morning and evenings for couple of hrs. I don't know what to do. Our household had flu over Xmas and my partner ended up in hospital very poorly with pneumonia.

Welcome to the community @cp77
I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Many people are struggling with energy bills at the moment. I know that won't make your problem go away, but I hope that being on the community and chatting to others in a similar position will help you to feel less alone.
Do you mind me asking whether you claim any benefits at the moment?
How's your partner doing at the moment?
If you'd like to help us with our campaigning work in this area, you might be interested in this opportunity:Hi there!
My name is Sophie and I work in the Scope Stories team. We are currently working on a campaign about the cost of living for disabled people. If you have disability-related costs that are higher than average, such as energy bills over £208 per month, we would be keen to hear from you.
If you're interested in participating, you can fill in this form, or email us at stories@scope.org.uk with any questions or for more information.
Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you!

If you live in either England or Wales the rules for the WHD have changed this year. Claiming certain benefits doesn't automatically qualify you. They also take into consideration the size and age of the property you live in. Unfortunately, they do not take into consideration your health condition so even if you rang them and told them this, it won't make any difference.I have a health condition too and need my heating on to top my pain levels going through the roof. I always qualified in previous years but this year my house doesn't fall within the qualifying criteria so i won't receive it this year. Sadly there's nothing i can do.0

Thankyou both for replying. To Sophie, i recieve esa and pip and housing. My partner is getting there thanks. The warm home discount was supposedly changed to help more people, but instead has made things harder because of epc of your house. It's all wrong.0
