Worried sick about PIP renewal

I made a claim in February 2020 which was initially turned down by the DWP. It was finally agreed by DWP at the last minute instead of going to a court tribunal. They told me it was agreed until 2nd September 2023. However, they have now sent me renewal papers dated 2nd Jan which I received yesterday and which they want back by 2nd February. I am so worried my situation has actually got slightly worse not better but because they initially turned me down will they automatically turn my renewal down?. Also does this mean the claim will not run until September 2023 as they originally agreed and can just be turned down when they receive my renewal back if they decide I no longer qualify? I am sick with worry and don't know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

At review the decision can either remain the same, be increased, decreased or refused. Any new decision will overrule your current award.
Your existing award will continue until a decision is made on the review. If a decision is made before your award is due to end, if it’s a refusal your payments will stop.
You can ring PIP to ask for an extension to return the form. You must return it within the timescale. You should treat this as a new claim and give as much information as possible. Include a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were. There are long delays for review decisions so you could be waiting several months, maybe longer. Another assessment is most likely as most people have them.0 -
