Hi can someone explain to me this sdp thing. My other half gets esa support group of roughly £117 a week he gets PIP enhanced & standard mobility he also gets lcwra, I get carers allowance & carers element & we are on universal credit, is he meant to get sdp or is it incorporated in one of his benefits please.  Also does anyone know if there is any grant schemes for windows please.  Thank you

He cannot get SDP because that refers to the old income based ESA. He isn’t getting that because it has been replaced by UC which is what you are both claiming.

(Even if he was on the old income based ESA he wouldn’t get SDP because he lives with you and you don’t get PIP and because you receive CA for looking after him.)
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Would you be able to tell us a bit more about what you're looking for, e.g. New windows, window repair, and what kind of accommodation you're in, e.g. privately rented, social housing @penpo?
