@Alex_Scope it’s really stressful for me I have settled status should I share a code with pip witch I got from gov website that they could check my settled status ? Because they asked that they need to check my status0
-
@Alex_Scope I’m feeling like having a stone in my throat0

@Agnia Taken from the Citizen's Advice Website, for PIP you need to prove you're habitually resident:You’ll need to give evidence to show the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man is your main home and you plan to stay. This is known as being ‘habitually resident’.Therefore, this does sound like a valid and routine part of the process.
Check how to prove you’re habitually resident.
You must also have lived in Great Britain for 2 out of the last 3 years. Great Britain is England, Wales and Scotland. It doesn’t include Northern Ireland.
Your time spent in Great Britain doesn't need to have been in one go. For example, you could have lived in England for 1 year, the USA for 1 year and Wales for 1 year.
When you say you feel like you have a stone in your throat, do you mean you are having that as an anxiety symptom?0 -
@Cher_Scope yes stress and anxiety I have settled status0
-
@Agnia Oh dear, do you have some relaxation techniques you could practice to help calm you down and distract you? What about a nice walk?
Is your GP aware you've been experiencing anxiety?0 -
@Cher_Scope yes my gp knows0

Hello @Agnia
You can contact Citizen's Advice or even give Scope's Helpline a call for help with your form0 -
Is there a particular part of your UC50 form you are struggling with at the moment @Agnia? It sounds positive that your GP knows.
Do you feel you are receiving the support you need and deserve from your GP? Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything we can do to support you further0
