I'm waiting on the result from the PIP renewal, I'm aware that there is huge backlogs.

Does PIP work in different living areas, or is it a global backlog? For example, could someone living in a certain area get a quicker decision to someone living elsewhere?

    Not all areas will have the same backlogs but a lot people are waiting longer than several months. The majority of people will need another assessment but some are having paper based assessments. All you can do is wait. Your current PIP award will continue while you wait.
