Hi @lindsey76 - & welcome to the community. A new diagnosis may not change the level of PIP you are on unless sufficient points may be gained. Before putting in for a 'change of circumstances', which this would be considered as, do check the PIP activities/descriptors here: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/asset-library/personal-independence-payment-descriptors-and-scores-april-2022.pdf & also seek advice from a Welfare Rights Office or other agency near you:https://advicelocal.uk/
A change of circumstances would entail a new PIP claim form being sent out together with needing another assessment. PIP isn't about any diagnosis, rather the functional impact in reliably performing/attempting any of the PIP descriptors.

I'm sorry for all you're going through. Sometimes people advise that you're not on the correct level of PIP, but an understanding of the activities that are looked at with PIP is needed to see if you may change your standard award to an enhanced one; for this 12 or more points would be needed.
This perhaps is possible, but do look at the descriptors, & consider finding professional help from advicelocal choosing 'Welfare benefits' from the drop down menu.

Hi @lindsey76 Welcome to our online community, I hope you're keeping okay today.

Chiarieds has given some great advice around the next steps in terms of your PIP claim. Do you feel comfortable with how to take it from here?

I'm also going to email you to see if there is anything we can do to support you so please keep an eye open for that.

All the best and I look forward to speaking more  :)
