Self Catherisation

Hi there, newbie here. I have been using catheters for over two years now. I do not have any medical issues, other than the fact I am unable to urinate. I can sometimes urinate normally but then for some unknown reasons, I just cannot urinate. I am still going to the doctors to see if they are able to help. I have had an operation to widen my bladder outlet, that did not work. I just have no pressure and to make matters worse, I can only hold about 200 ml before the pain is so bad that I have to release the pressure.
I hope that someone can help me here.
Kind regards

Hello and welcome @kitebeast this sounds very frustrating for you to manage, I'm sorry to hear. To help our members share their thoughts with you, I've moved your post over into our undiagnosed conditions category.
Have you spoken to your GP about what possible options you have for treatment or to ease the pain after the operation to widen your bladder?1 -
Hi @kitebeast welcome to the forum, I would definatly see gp and see what they suggest maybe a referral back to the hospital1

Hello @Sandy_123 and @Alex_Scope, thank you for the warm welcome and suggestions.
I am in constant talks with my Urologist and doctor. I have another bladder pressure test, a Urodynamic, in a few weeks and hopefully after that we will have a few options. It is just very frustrating getting up 2 to 4 times a night to have a wee, and then not knowing if it will flow naturally or if I will have to use a catheter. Thanks again.0 -
I can imagine it's frustrating hopefully they can sort it out for you1
