My PIP award end date was January 5th 2023….and I’ve heard nothing. I am thinking of ringing them but I’m scared. I have very bad anxiety. Is it usual to have heard nothing past the end date? Will my PIP just continue? Apparently they are very busy at the moment due to backlogs…help appreciated.

Yes it’s normal at the moment. Your existing PIP will continue until a decision is made on your review.
Theres huge backlogs and some are waiting more than a year for an assessment. We have some members waiting 18 months so far.0 -

Thank you for replying.I received a text message today telling me they are handling my assessment…I hate how anxious this whole thing makes me.
Still, at least I’ve heard from them I guess.0 -
I can really hear the anxiety it has given you @Poppy2020. Would anything, in particular, help to reduce your anxiety at the moment?
Hopefully, they will soon handle your assessment and you won't be waiting for too long. Please do let us know how it goes and if we can do anything else to support you0
