Hi,
I started the whole applying for pip process on December 07th. I feel I have been quite lucky with the timescale of it all. I had my video assessment on 31st January and had the text confirming they had received the report yesterday morning. With my anxiety and overthinking I called them and asked for a copy of my report. I have hust received it and I am really happy with it. The nurse who did my assessment was lovely and gave a true reflection of my day to day life. She has scored me 8 points daily living and 12 points for Mobility.

I am just getting anxious that DWP would go against the recommendation and not award it. Has anyone had this happen to them? Or do DWP go with the medical professionals report. Would appreciate any advise. Thank you 😊

Thank you. I’ve been reading everyone’s comments throughout the process. It’s been so helpful.I hope they do as it has really stressed me out. I applied for Pip back in 2021 and had the worst experience and was devastated when I was turned down. But this time around it was a million times better. I’m hoping that it is a good result. 🙏🏽0

https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/pip-test-formAs chiarieds has stated, it’s up to a DM to decide and not the assessor. 12 points for DL is the Enhanced rate.0 -
I’ve just received an update from PIP. I have been approved for higher elements as per my report. Decision was made around 30 mins ago, so my payment information hasn’t been updated yet. Will have to give them a call back tomorrow. I am so happy and relieved. When will I receive the backdated pay0

Once payment is made it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank.
