I think it’s fair to say, that songs about love are an all-year-round thing, but you do get some that are more Valentine related. Unlike Christmas where you know those songs are for that festive period, Valentine’s Day doesn’t have that many, or even songs that are socially considered to be for the 14th February. Most are labelled as a “love song”.
Even the song, “My Funny Valentine” is reported to have been first heard in April 1937.
It begs the question, what is a Valentine’s Day song? Or what would you consider to be one?
