So just wanted some advice I had sent off my appeal for tribunal given a date but doctor rang me yesterday said the dwp rang him like a month ago and requested my medical records while we’re waiting for the tribunal at end of the month my question is . Is this a normal thing and why wouldn’t they have done this before mandatory reconsideration if anyone could help pleaseee

DWP may be reviewing their decision before the hearing date - but that’s a guess. If they offer you a revised decision and you accept it your appeal will lapse but you can accept a revised decision but still, if necessary, appeal the new decision straight to tribunal. If DWP introduce them as advice HMCTS will have to send you a copy of whatever DWP send in0

Yes thought was really strange that doctor rang me out nowhere said dwp rang him in October to get my medical records but we filed the tribunal in June0

They rang in October? But we are now in February.0

Yes they haven’t sent me what my doctor sent them or to the tribunal as isn’t in tribunal pack will they have disclose they got that information from my doctor in October0

Yes I done my appeal to tribunal in June done everything waiting for hearing then out no where doctors rings me said oh I notice u wanted get some paperwork for your tribunal but I’ve already sent it back to dwp at end of October so wondering why they done that while we’re waiting for the hearing0

When I replied earlier I inferred the GP request was recent. If it was last October ignore what I said about possibly interpreting it as an indication that DWP are reviewing their decision.0
