Hi all. I was successful in changing my PIP award mobility from standard to enhanced. I was told that I may be owed money. But they do owe me back pay from October 2022. But only paid me my new rate for month January.
Not received any letter or the back pay. It's been a month now.
when I received my first claim, I had the back pay & the award sent together. Anyone experienced a delay in back pay. And should I contact DWP

Contact PIP if you have already received the new rate payment.1

Hello @Valler and a warm welcome to our online community, how are you doing?
I'd second speaking with PIP to find out more. The PIP helpline contact details are:Telephone: 0800 121 4433
Textphone: 0800 121 4493
Relay UK (if you cannot hear or speak on the phone): 18001 then 0800 121 4433
British Sign Language (BSL) video relay service if you’re on a computer - find out how to use the service on mobile or tablet
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Find out about call chargesJust to let you know, I've moved your thread to our PIP, DLA and AA category and amended the title to help others find it more easily.
Take care and please keep us updated.

Hi to all.my health has deteriorated & I need more support as I'm now dependent on using a wheelchair. Getting around has become increasingly difficult & im mostly stuck in my home. Travelling without the help of others, is a no go.I was due a review, I needed help to complete the form. I found it very stressful & depend on the use of taxis several times a week to attend appointments.0

If that was a review started by DWP then usually the extra money is paid from the date the decision was made.

Thank you for your response. I did give the a call. Waited 1 hour. It would seem that they had sent the award. But hadn't looked into anything else. And just left it to that. The DWP stated that they will look into it tomorrow & call me back. Thank you for the suggestion to contact them.0
