If you live in England the criteria this year has changed. Claiming means tested benefits isnt the only criteria this year. They also look at the age and size of the property you live in.
Have you checked this link here https://www.gov.uk/check-if-youre-eligible-for-warm-home-discount
You can also ring the helpline. Though the feedback I’ve heard from others isn’t good regarding the helpline.

If you do not get a letter

Contact the Warm Home Discount helpline if you do not get the letter by mid-January 2023 and you think you’re eligible.

You’ll need to call the helpline before 28 February 2023.

    Warm Home Discount helpline
    Telephone: 0800 107 8002
Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
    Find out about call charges

I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

You don't need a certificate to get the warm home grant, there was no such thing when I bought my house 30 odd years ago, so I've never had one but got it based on the size and age of my house.

    Hello @Gobbygirl66

Have you got an online journal for your ESA? It may be worth popping a comment on there to ask?

There's no online journal for ESA claimants. This applies to Universal Credit only.
