Hi I get my energy from ovo they say I’m not entitled to warm home discount this year,but I receive employment and support allowance in support group,gov website says I am entitled anyone else been turned down and why.Thanks.

If you live in England the criteria this year has changed. Claiming means tested benefits isnt the only criteria this year. They also look at the age and size of the property you live in.Have you checked this link here https://www.gov.uk/check-if-youre-eligible-for-warm-home-discount
You can also ring the helpline. Though the feedback I’ve heard from others isn’t good regarding the helpline.If you do not get a letter
Contact the Warm Home Discount helpline if you do not get the letter by mid-January 2023 and you think you’re eligible.
You’ll need to call the helpline before 28 February 2023.

Hi Poppy I did call the help line and they said I qualified but house doesn't have a certificate so I wouldn't get it.

You don't need a certificate to get the warm home grant, there was no such thing when I bought my house 30 odd years ago, so I've never had one but got it based on the size and age of my house.

There's no online journal for ESA claimants. This applies to Universal Credit only.
