Good Morning, Following a successful LCWRA assessment and award (mainly due to information gleamed from this site)..and then successfully dated payment award (TOTALLY due to information from this forum)..both of which i am very grateful, I have been advised by my physiotherapist to apply for PIP. I am in the process at present taking guidance from forum posts, links ,etc. The fact that 60% of these applications are unsuccessful is rather daunting. Would the medical report from LCWRA assessment be useful in my application ?..I do realise they are two different benefits. In a nutshell are there any dos and don'ts when form filling?. What is the main information they are looking for. .or NOT as the case may be ?. Many thanks again

This might help also, printer friendly and you can make notes in which category you find difficult then print out.1 -

I'm not sure if I'm able to recommend another website?
But, I highly recommend the 'Benefits and Work' guides, I did pay for membership but found their PIP guide to be invaluable.
They provide lots of tips to fill in the PIP form as comprehensively as you can.
Good luck!

In a nutshell I'd probably advise not to read too many posts online and end up overthinking every descriptor.
PIP experiences differ considerably, and the advice given is often based just on one individuals experience. The system isn't as fair & consistent as we'd like it to be. What worked for one person doesn't always work for others.
The best advice really is to read each descriptor carefully, then choose one of your own recent attempts at that task to describe what happened in detail.1
