February

 

Where almost half way through February

Boy, its cold this time of year,

I need to put the heating up

The frost is stinging my ears.

The garden has a blanket of frost

The car has one as well

I really don’t want to dwell

Its cold this time of year.

 

I’m looking at TV

Those ads of holidays, begun,

With clear blue waters

And loads and loads of sun.

But then I see the mountain views

Around Wales and also afar

So what type of holiday would it be

in the snow and sitting in a spa.

 

The steam is just rising

The temperature, just keeps falling

I’m just sat here drinking Champagne

And its not just one,

 to give me some more cheer

A strawberry or an olive,

 I guess I’m deciding

The snow is now falling

What about a plum

It’s coming thick and fast

I guess I must be brave

I could have saved a £1000

And just stayed at home,

 and not gone away.

  So for a change you add the end that might apply to you..........Have a go.....
