HM Courts and Tribunal Services have sent me someone else’s letter

I shall try to cut a long story short. I applied for PIP in October 2021 and it is now February 2023. Firstly CAB filled in my application form for me and finding that I had the necessary points required to be in receipt of the benefit they sent my form to the DWP. I then had my Assessment in the January of 2022 to which I was awarded O points. The reason they gave for this was that I picked up my handbag from by my feet whilst I was seated. Of course I asked for a Mandatory Reconsideration and they still awarded me O points to which I then applied for an Appeal. In January of this year I received a letter from them that had my name on the first page but somebody else’s letter along with it and no conclusion to my letter. I have contacted the Courts twice regarding this and voicing my concerns and they have told me both times that they will send both myself and my Representative Pre-paid envelopes in which to return the second part of the letter to them but no envelopes have arrived. I have just rung them again along with numerous emails and I have even contacted the Data Protection regarding the issue and am just sent from pillar to post. My doctors and my Neurologists feel I should be getting PIP as I need to pay for Physical therapy etc but none of this seems to matter to them and now as far as I know someone else has got my details and possibly even their representatives as well. Please, what should I do as all of this is aggravating my symptoms causing me great distress. Thank you in advance for any help you may give me.

They still haven’t sent me an envelope to return the other person’s details and I still haven’t had news on an Appeal date. I feel very low on optimism and hope.0

How strange @Artful, and certainly a breach of GDPR too! It really doesn't help that you are just being passed from pillar to post either
It seems the only thing you can do is keep being determined and, hopefully, you'll get through to the right person eventually who is able to action this!
Hopefully, our wonderful community members will have some additional ideas though. In the meantime, is there anything else that might help make this more manageable for you?0
