Hi there @JoaoP and a warm welcome to the community, thanks for your post It sounds like you've had to wait a while for a date, I'm sorry it's taken so long!
To help our members share their thoughts, I've edited the title and moved this over into our PIP category so it's easier to find.
It might be possible to access support from Citizens Advice or you could search for a professional adviser on Advice Local too.
Turn2Us also have a guide on the tribunal process, which I hope will be helpful for you to read.
If we can help with anything further please ask, and keep us updated with how you get on.0 -

J Pedro PereiraHello JoaoPPIP is not awarded based on a persons diagnosis but how there condition affects them completing the 12 PIP activities according to the descriptors. You need to show why you cannot complete the 12 PIP activities either safely, repeatedly, in a timely manor or to an acceptable standard for more than 50% of the time.Do you use any aids to help you to prepare a meal? Or to Wash and bath? For example if you have problems with your joints and muscles do you have problems bending down so you need to use a long handled sponge to wash the lower part of your body or you cannot stand to prepare a meal so you need to use a perching stool to sit when preparing a meal.Do you need assistance or supervision when doing the PIP activities because it is not safe for you to do them without supervision? You need to exlain why you need assistance, supervision or aids and what would happen if you did not have them.PIP is not about diagnosis but how your condition accects you doing the daily living and mobility activities according to the descriptors.Nasturtium0 -
Do you know where you think you should have scored those points and your reasons why?Have you written and sent your submission? This should have included detailed real world examples of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.0
